My God Given Personal Purpose Statement is “I must strategically lead a gifted team, to embrace the power of their God Given Design, which leads to long term positive results.“ BrushFires was born when I asked myself, “If you really believe that’s your Purpose Statement, then what are you going to do about it?” I sat down and began to pull together thoughts, quotes and ideas of what it should look like. My quiet time was a constant flow of memories of previous messages I had written, critical ideas I had held on to and numerous promptings by the Holy Spirit. I realized during this time, that The Father had been leading me to this ministry for decades. What else can I do, but what He leads me to do?

BrushFires has allowed me to accept myself and all the things labeled as "weird". I am so thankful today for the way God created me. My Purpose Statement is "I must impact others by freely inspiring them to understand and make wise decisions in a manner that pleases God." God is using me in this capacity in a way I only dreamed about. This has brought such a fullness and richness to my life. BrushFires has also helped me understand my wife and the things that are very important to her and why they are important.

I have always felt like a "misfit", a "third wheel", someone to be put up with, and could never really understand why people treated me this way. I have a great love for people and desire to encourage and bless others. BrushFires put into words what I always felt inside but had difficulty expressing. I have accepted and settled into how God created me and am more confident in who I am as a Daughter of God. I continue to learn more about myself and how God sees me as I embrace the concepts learned in BrushFires and as they continually are confirmed through others and my devotions with God.

My husband and I absolutely adore BrushFires. We first took this workshop as newlyweds. The two of us got married pretty quickly after we heard from God we were designed for each other. Our spontaneous marriage was a great leap of Faith for us. BrushFires was our in the flesh confirmation. Colton and I are literally perfect for each other, when you look at our designs we fill and compensate for each others strengths and weaknesses.

We offer this transformational experience in either a two-day seminar at your location, or as an online eight week session (one session per week) via Zoom. Our Leadership training equips your leaders to minister to The Body by training them on design, design conflicts and ministry building. The Leadership training can also be done on site or via Zoom.

How long do the assessments take?
The 3 Basic Assessments can be done in less than 45 minutes. The 3 Advanced Assessments take on average 20 minutes for each assessment.
How soon do I get my results?
Upon completion of each assessment, your results are immediately displayed to you. Once you finalize the assessment results, those results are then emailed to you. Upon completion of all of the assessments, you can arrange a Design Discovery Meeting (DDM) to receive a deep dive into your God Given Design. The Full DDM results in a Purpose Statement, your personal why and how you fit into The Body of Christ.
How do I receive my design and purpose statement?
Our program can be experienced through our personal / group study BrushFires workbook "Discover Your Devine Design", through our BrushFires 8 week Zoom or live classes, through our 2 day FireStorm events or through private coaching. The design comes together upon the completion of each assessment. These results are pulled together through the Assessments Summary Form. Further insight can be arranged through your Design Discovery Meeting (DDM).
How do I know this is accurate?
The assessments are based on the science of psychometrics and 4 decades of practice of Steven Johnson from Strategic People Development. Psychometrics is the study of the mind / soul / personality traits. It focuses in how a person is wired. Other personality assessments focus on behavior, which changes throughout a person's life. These assessments have been measured over the decades with the highest ratings of validity and reliability.
What is a Design Discovery Meeting (DDM) ?
The Design Discovery Meeting process is unlike any other. You will be seen and valued for who you really are based on the answers you gave in your Y•M•I Assessments. It's not uncommon for emotions to come to the surface, because most people go through life without ever feeling seen, understood or valued for who they are. For these reasons and more, we do the DDM evaluations privately.
