The Y•M•I Assessment are based on the science of psychometrics. Developed and used for over 4 decades in the practice of Steven Johnson from Strategic People Development. Psychometrics is the study of the mind / soul / personality traits. The Y•M•I Assessment have been measured over the decades with the highest ratings of validity and reliability. They focus in how a person is wired by their Maker. Other personality assessments focus on behavior, which changes throughout a person's life. Most of those behavior based assessments tend to divide, where our program strives to unite. We look at every believer as a puzzle piece just waiting to find the ministry in which they fit best.

A successful idea can only truly flourish when each team member is valued and heard for their unique contribution to the overall success of the team. We can help you answer all of the following questions necessary for you to thrive.
- Creative - This individual is a wealth of new ideas. Some great, some not as great. They see what could be and are absolutely critical to keeping you ahead of the curve and relevant.
- Designer - This individual is the closest ally to the Creative team member. They help them to focus and narrow down their creative energies into the most promising ideas. They develop the prototype that is necessary for the rest of the team to examine and evaluate.
- Developer - This is your most important piece of the puzzle. This is your bridge between the R&D and the System / Structure elements. This is the person that nurtures your Creative team long enough for the idea to form and reach the prototype stage. This is the person that will start to build structure and systems around the prototyped idea and hand it off to your Systems people as you complete the implementation.
- Refiner - This is your critic, but in the best way. They want to make the idea effective and efficient. They want to make it better and better. They are absolutely necessary in making sure this idea is truly successful.
- Maximizer - This is the final piece of the successful team puzzle. This is where the idea can be leveraged again and again. This individual establishes the final protocols, procedures and makes certain that your team adheres to the policies.
A successful idea can only truly flourish when each team member is valued and heard for their unique contribution to the overall success of the team. We can help you answer all of the following questions necessary for you to thrive.
- Do you have each member of the team? Who are they?
- Are you missing the necessary pieces to truly enjoy success and which piece? One person is likely only dominant in one of the above roles.
- Do you know how each member can work with or work against the other?
- Is each member being appreciated for what they contribute? How do you express that appreciation?
- How can you discover what pieces need to be built up, discovered or acquired?

The Impact Style reveals how someone is designed to influence a group effort (complimentary construct). It also reveals how others Impact Styles conflict with them and why some people seem to "rub each other the wrong way" more than others. The Impact Style will also reveal potential "tweaks," or unproductive behaviors, such as passive aggressive, manipulation, obsessive restrictive or obsessive compulsive. Getting the most from an existing team is not always about what others might assume. In fact, by uncovering a persons Impact Style, you can encourage and show them you really value them, in a manner in which they will best receive that encouragement.
The Impact Style is how a person experiences personal value and worth. This is how they are designed to go beyond just making a minimal effort. When their personal Impact Style is acknowledged and appreciated, a person experiences true personal worth. This personal worth is the lubrication that opens up the desires for them to do more than just make a minimal effort. This personal worth is the fuel that empowers satisfaction, commitment and belief. This personal worth is the glue that binds them to The Team. This is yet another piece to building the most successful team possible. Here are the four different Impact Style;
These assessments will allow you to understand the unique design each person has. That knowledge will allow you to begin to interact with them in a way that they can hear you, and you'll be able to better hear them, because you'll both be talking to them in their complimentary design language. Additionally, they'll begin to interact in a more cooperative manner, because you have taken the initiative to understand them and how they can flourish, you'll see them for who they truly are.

- Director - The Director wants to create order out of chaos. This is the person that can be trusted to manage, oversee and maintain the positive work environment.
- Persuader - The Persuader has something to say and MUST be heard. They will promote, persuade and are not easily discouraged.
- Cooperator - The Cooperator wants to help. If you have an office filled with Cooperators, you can get a lot done.
- Analyst - The Analyst has a moral obligation to deliver the right answer. This person should not be rushed to a conclusion and in fact can be made less effective if they are rushed.

The Temperaments uncover how someone thinks (compatibility construct). It will reveal why some struggle to understand where certain people are coming from. They will find that many of their friends have similar Temperament designs as they do (birds of a feather). We can actually train you how someone else thinks (see the world through their eyes). This includes how they focus their attention, gather information, evaluate information and approach decision making. Would it be helpful to find the answers to any of the following questions?
All of the above examples, (and many not listed), are centered around another challenging aspect of building up The Body of Christ... understanding how people think. Each person has unique ways of thinking. How can someone best leverage how they think to achieve the goals? We can train you how others think and how your church body can benefit from their way of thinking.
Helping your leaders understand the most effective way to leverage each design set your people bring to empower your body. What if you could understand how the members of your body really "tick?" What if you could understand what motivates them (it's likely not what you assume)? What if you could see how they are designed? Wouldn't you then have some insight as to what drives them to succeed... and turn that into a healthier body?

- Which person can really think outside of the box?
- Why do some people have shorter attention spans?
- Why are some people harder to nail down to a decision?
- Which people are going to give you the most objective answer?
- Who is the most likely to be able to share how they came to their decisions?
