Thank you for your interest in the FireStorm seminar presented by BrushFires Ministries. Our FireStorm seminar is the 8-week, BrushFires Discover Your Divine Design workshop, condensed and presented in a 2-day seminar. During this time, we will go over the workbook materials and assessment results so it’s best if you can complete the assessments prior to the seminar. Just like our fingerprints are unique only to us, God purposely and intentionally, created and designed each of us differently than all others: differently in the way we process, react, and respond to life’s situations. Once you discover your Divine Design, you will experience a more fulfilled and intimate personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Our heavenly Father created us each with such individual care and intention. Life more abundant is found in our Divine Design. The BrushFires program has demonstrated that Believers that are actively pursuing their God-Given purpose are more active in church, experience greater fulfillment, and are making a difference for His Kingdom. They share their experiences with their families, friends, and co-workers. They become lights in their sphere of influence, always pointing others to their Savior as they walk into who they were always created to be. They are making a difference. The FireStorm event is specifically designed to serve the needs of those who have not yet found their place in The Body of Christ, have “burned out” for various reasons, or who don't believe they have a ministry. We also provide leaders with meaningful tools to encourage their entire congregations to fervently pursue who God created them to be.
Day 1 - We will begin with how our foundation is based on God's promises. We will explain what our individual roles are as children of God. He chose us and adopted us into His family in order to accomplish His good works through us (Joy Bombs). It is God's plan! We will discuss how He intentionally designed each of us uniquely, distinctly different from all others, to enable us to become a more effectual extension of Him in our pursuits to reach His chosen ones. All of this will be revealed through scripture, demonstrations, and exercises. We will conclude the sessions with ways to help us identify other members of The Body (even those within our own families), whose Motivated Roles, Impact Styles, and Temperaments are designed differently than ours.
Day 2 - We will start with a warning about our worldly Orphaned Child Identity. This is a stronghold that keeps us from living in our God-Given Identity. We will provide training on how to recognize our Orphan Child (the counterfeit identity built upon lies propagated by worldly judgments and labels), and then on how to mature into our God-Given Identity (built upon how God sees us as His beloved children). We will then delve into the importance of engaged listening, understanding differences, and having grace without judgement when interacting with them. This will allow us all to flourish in our individual and collaborative Christian walks. At the end of the seminar, we will close with testimonies, a brief review of the Design Discovery Meeting (DDM) process, and how our Spiritual Gifts are distributed and can be employed within The Body.
FireStorm is our most powerful implementation of the BrushFires program; it’s an intense immersion into our materials. We have an early bird registration fee of just $10.00 (covering limited expenses) any traveling expenses will be discussed in advance. In addition, there is a recommended package of seven unique assessments that should be purchased in advance of the seminar. Four of these assessments need to be completed before the seminar starts so that attendees can participate in the design discussions during the seminar. The Complete Assessment package is conducted online (via an electronic device) and costs $30.00 per person. There is also an optional workbook that provides detailed explanations, construct definitions, and other materials not included in the seminar. We recommend one per family.
No one at BrushFires takes a salary or is compensated for their time. Having said that, we would welcome a love offering administered by the leaders and taken at the end of each day. It is our hope to continue this ministry as God blesses us through His people.
